2024 marked a significant milestone for Montech: It celebrated 60 years of company history, characterized by innovation, precision, and change. From our beginnings as a system manufacturer to a leading conveyor technology company \u2013 we are proud of our past and we\u2019re looking boldly into the future.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n What began as a system manufacturer for the Swiss watch industry has developed over six decades into a leading supplier of belt conveyors, aluminum framing systems, and transfer systems. Since our foundation in 1964, Montech has always focused on the same principles: Customer orientation, innovation, quality, and precision. These values still shape us today and have carried us through many ups and downs. We are particularly proud of our team \u2013 many of our employees have been with us for decades and embody these values every day.<\/p>\n A turning point in our history was the strategic decision in the 1990s to move away from system engineering and focus on the components business. This change of course has paved the way for sustainable growth and allowed us to establish a niche in the field of modular conveyor and automation systems. Our entry into the world of modular conveyor and automation systems was visionary at the time, and our products were innovative.<\/p>\n However, recent decades have also been marked by significant challenges: The collapse of the mobile phone market, the financial crisis, the lifting of the EUR minimum rate, and, most recently, the Coronavirus pandemic. Each of these crises has been a test of endurance \u2013 but they have also been a chance for us to reinvent ourselves. Today, we benefit from the innovations that have emerged in these phases.<\/p>\n Our goal was and is to constantly improve the standards for conveyor and framing technology. Our latest developments focus on efficiency and sustainability \u2013 two key issues for the future of industry. We are a strong partner for companies around the world thanks to our versatile portfolio and the continuous enhancement of our online configurator. In 2024, we again expanded our product range, for example with new components for our MPS aluminum framing system and the new conveyor line for cleanrooms. This shows that our striving for progress is unbroken.<\/p>\n Our journey is far from over even after 60 years. We firmly believe that our potential for product innovation and growth is still huge. We remain down-to-earth.
